Intend - Inspire - Express!

Known to his university students as "Dr. A", Erik has been empowering singers across the spectrum of style and age to express with authenticity for over two decades. As the Voice Area Coordinator at West Virginia University, he works with pre-professionals and emerging artists in commercial, musical theatre, and classical genres of singing, in addition to directing the Lyric Opera program. His students have gone on to sing on Broadway, in international opera houses, at major venues across the nation, and at the coffee shop down the street. Erik strives to help every student develop tools that focus intent and clarify action to manifest meaningful communication through music and language.
